Thanks to Sean's tumblr post, I have some new tunes on loop for the day. The Followers' "Wounded Healer" is the first release for Deeper Well Records, a gospel collective that has been birthed out of Door of Hope Church in Portland Oregon. Songwriter Josh White (of Telecast) teamed up with Eric Earley (of Blitzen Trapper), and friends to create a 70's infused worship experience. It's sounds quite nice on this summery day. Download the entire album for free HERE.

Daisy’s surgery to resect her third cancerous tumor in as many years is today at 10:30 a.m. PST in our hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. The tumor is sitting where her last two were and is the size of a golfball. It is apparently connected to the spleen and part of her bowel.
An important prayer request right now is that the surgeon is able to remove the whole tumor without having to take any of the spleen and/or bowel.
The bigger prayer is that the tumor would end up being non-cancerous—which would be a miracle. If it is cancerous we will pray for a favorable histology; which would mean it is not the worst and most aggressive and treatment-resistant sort of cancer.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. We love and value you all.

What I would've given to be there when this video was recorded... This song hits the bullseye for me. Read John Mark's line-by-line commentary HERE. Amazingly, beautifully, and wonderfully put, Mr. McMillan.
Not sure where the following video is from (maybe Hillsong?) but it's rad as well.

My fascination with this band continues to grow. Their Young Love Remix EP has been on loop for the past 3 days and has no signs of stopping. Sample it here: kyekyemusic.com/young-love-remixes.
