Trevor Davis - Bold As A Lion

Seeing this freshly posted video was a nice way to start my day. San Diego friend, Trevor Davis, has been cooking up some sweet tunes lately and this live recording shows just how talented this fellow is. I just bought the EP combo package for $8. Go get it here!

Watching this made me miss San Diego/California and all of the fine people that live there. The thing I miss most about living in San Diego is the likely chance that something rad is happening on any given night of the week. Shows, coffee shops, restaurants, or little get-togethers at someone's house... there was always something to do. I'm long overdue for a visit.

Oh, and shout out to my homegirl Darla on the drums. Heyoooo!

Hau'oli la hanau, Daisy Love!

Today is the 7th birthday of this amazing 2x cancer survivor… Daisy Love Merrick! The whole Merrick gang stopped by to get her a shirt and throw some solid shakas. Happy birthday Daisy!

A day for the history books..

I was fortunate enough to spend the past 6 days hanging out with some real quality folks. The Smileys (family of the legend, Scotty Smiley) graced O'ahu with their presence while on vacation. These photos pretty much sum up yesterday, their last full day on the island. The day went a little something like this:

Coffee at The Bucks
A stroll through the hills of Pupukea
Round 2 at The Bucks
Surf lessons @ Chun's with Tyler Nakamura
Lunch at Waialua Bakery, since Haleiwa Bowls was closed. Get it together Sam :(
Shave Ice at Aoki's
Swimming/jumping off Waimea Point
Lei Lei's feast for dinner

HELP TOKYO tee!

We recently added this shirt to the online store as well as to our shop in Haleiwa. It's a little spin off of our TOKYO logo that we've had for a bit now. Figured it'd be pretty appropes to make this design happen. ALL proceeds from this limited tee will be sent to Samaritan's Purse to support their relief efforts. Find them HERE!
