Summer Photos

I've been delving deeper into the toy camera world lately and it's been my new favorite hobby. The Lomo Supersampler was the first camera I bought back in 2003 and I've got about 12 different cameras now. Lately I've been putting my LC-A+ to good use. I'll be posting a few of my favorite snaps every now and then.

Israel

In 2005,  I went to Israel with many friends and church family. It was the most incredible trip I've ever been on. If you ever have the chance...go.

This is Eric. Shortly after I took this photo, he got a verbal thrashing from a random tourist lady. She was saying how Eric had no respect because he was standing on this old broken pillar. I thought it was hilarious. Eric, how could you? This is an old rock. Graciously, he apologized.

This is me (right) and my friend Tripp in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Tripp had me and Eric (the hooligan in the above pic) shoot a video of him giving a sermon on the boat. It was about when Peter got out of the boat and walked on water toward Jesus. At the end of his sermon, Tripp jumped out of the boat! We all couldn't believe it. Unfortunately the microphone connected to the video was not switched on, so the tape had no audio and turned out to be pretty boring until he seems to randomly jump off the boat.

Israel is filled with awesome sites, ancient ruins, and unbelievable architecture.

Here's a shot of everyone who went. We're on the Mount of Olives overlooking the Temple Mount in the city of Jerusalem. Read your Bibles if you have no idea what I just said.
Here's a photo taken of friends near the site believed to be the empty tomb. HE>i shirts for everyone!
